the world’s leading classifieds marketplace, turned to China Business Agency when they realized their automotive mobile experience needed a serious transformation. With millions of users buying and selling vehicles and parts across multiple countries, OLX wanted a unified design vision that would not only modernize their UX/UI but also empower their in-house teams to scale it globally. Our goal was to create a strategic foundation for a seamless and brand-agnostic design system that aligns with future trends and business expansion.
Our engagement began with a deep-dive workshop in Lisbon, bringing together stakeholders from product, design, marketing, and engineering. We analyzed their existing user research, mapped feature journeys, and proposed a roadmap to transform fragmented app experiences into an intuitive and cohesive customer journey. This collaborative process helped OLX define not just what to build, but why it matters—laying the groundwork for a more efficient, scalable, and delightful user experience.

From day one, we worked as an extension of OLX’s team—designing key user journeys, validating ideas with prototypes, and integrating feedback in real-time. Every two days, we synced with their core product team, and each week, we presented to a broader audience across departments. These constant feedback loops ensured alignment and momentum throughout the 10-week sprint.

Once the UX concepts stabilized, we returned to Lisbon for intensive co-creation sessions. We helped their design and marketing leads integrate the vision into the broader strategy, and trained their internal team on how to evolve the app using the new design system. This wasn’t just a handover—it was a transfer of mindset, tools, and capabilities to support sustainable growth.
Our UI work culminated in a sleek, minimal component library that meets international accessibility standards and supports fast performance across all markets. This brand-neutral design language allowed OLX to maintain one code base adaptable to multiple regions—saving time, reducing complexity, and elevating the product’s visual consistency. The result: a mobile experience that’s simple, scalable, and ready for the future.
